Colour Building #1 is part of the Colour Building series. These are outdoor nocturnal pieces using a building, or other architectural element, as “support”, taking advantage of the immateriality of the medium (just light) to play with large scales. The light waves produced by HMI lamps have extreme sharpness and intensity, allowing the projector to be placed at a great distance and still producing very good hard-edge light shapes.
